Promotional video for Adobe MAX 2025 Precon - Russell Brown present Magical Mythological Menagerie.
This project began as a composite using Firefly text-to-image generated images which were then combined using Adobe Photoshop with my headshot to create a base image.
Different elements from each generation were used to add depth with the background, candles, cards, jacket flourishes, and a simple pop of color with the drink.
Next step was to add motion using video layers in Photoshop. The smoke background was added from Adobe Stock. The candles proved to be more challenging if I used Stock, so I turned to Firefly Text-to-Video.
Using the final PSD composite image as the first and last frames, I was able to use a prompt to create candlelight flickering. From there it was a simple effort to add that motion back into the PSD as a video layer and mask out the candles.
The final touches were to import the typographic logo (designed by Oscar Arbulu) and add motion to it.
